The Conspicua Cuff

The Conspicua CuffExhibited in Milano Jewelry Week 2022, at ‘The FAB’ Collective Exhibition.

While in the midst of a heartwrecking pandemic, uncertainty and grief leaves some of us with a yearning for play, color, laughter and nostalgia for our infancy and its objects. Thus the inspiration to design something with joy and playfulness in mind. A neon pink ABS plastic cuff hugs the wrist with a wavy band. A plastic cabochon ‘gemstone’ lies entrapped inside the emoji face. This ‘gemstone’ is made out of recycled HDPE plastics.This piece was 3D modeled and then printed and assembled.
