This special edition intervention of the iconic Ultramundo Mezcal bottle is brought to life by Mexican designer and goldsmith Paulina Meza. The three-dimensional intervention is made of recycled silver, refined and alloyed to 925, representing a landscape of
\ndesert mountains dazzled by the most important celestial event of the next 200 years, the Annular Solar Eclipse 2024, which occurred on April 8 of that year. This collaboration between Paulina Meza and Mezcal Ultramundo takes on even greater luster with the knowledge that the Zona del Silencio and La Laguna region is part of the entire trajectory of the great celestial event. The metal work has a mirror finish, is kinetic and features a rotating sun-moon with a bolt through the center, flanked by 8mm cabochon-cut natural gems. This special edition will have only 17 pieces, which mimics the number of pieces the artist makes.
\nwhen it produces graphics. The bottle’s packaging design was designed in collaboration with Luis Sergio Rangel \u00a8M\u00e1scara\u00a8 of the renowned Mucho Dise\u00f1o studio, based in Torre\u00f3n, Coahuila, Mexico.<\/p>\n
Part of the proceeds from this purchase will be donated to the conservation of the Bolson Turtle, an endemic species of Zona del Silencio.<\/p>\n
