Shooting Team Taller 201

At Taller 201, we believe jewelry is not only about the pieces themselves, but about the hands, stories, and passions that make them possible. On August 6, we experienced a very special moment: our first photoshoot as a team. The purpose of the session was to introduce our workshop, highlight the women who make it possible, and share with the public the essence behind each of their jewelry proposals.

The shoot was intimate and casual, meant to reveal a little more of ourselves and the space we create in. Each photograph reflects the personality of the three founders—Pau Delgado, Cecilia Menéndez, and Paulina Meza—as well as the spirit of everyone who takes part in this project.

For this session, we had the fortune of collaborating with Monci Plata, a talented photographer renowned for her sensitivity and ability to capture spontaneous moments. Through her lens, the smiles, gestures, and energy that define the founders were authentically reflected. She helped us translate the essence of Taller 201 into images.

That same day, El Sol de la Laguna and Radio Torreón visited our workshop to interview the founders. They spoke about the creation of Taller 201, the personal projects of each member, the importance of building a collaborative production space for jewelry in the region, and the ongoing journey they are shaping within Mexican jewelry.

Esta primera sesión representa un paso importante para el taller, no solo para dar a conocer al taller, sino como una manera de consolidar la identidad del proyecto. El resultado fue un conjunto de imágenes que no solo muestran un lugar, sino también las historias y visiones de las mujeres que lo hacen posible. Más allá de las fotos y entrevistas, este día se convirtió en un recordatorio de por qué hacemos lo que hacemos: porque creemos en la colaboración, en el arte hecho a mano y en el poder de crecer juntas.
